In its first few years, the AHO has enabled 13 developments in 9 neighborhoods, which include 758+ new homes plus 365 to be entirely or substantially rebuilt. Cumulatively, these sites will include (and in some cases have included) housing for the formerly unhoused (with on-site services), replacement for structurally unusable apartments in public housing, senior housing, more large apartments for families, and will put historic but unused buildings to productive use.

It is estimated that the rate of affordable housing development jumped from 40 units per year prior to the AHO to an average of 200 units per year under the AHO.
